Neurology

Neurology is the medical subspecialty that treats disorders of the nervous system. This includes diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. Common problems that a neurologist will diagnose and treat are headaches, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy (seizures), strokes and cerebrovascular disorders, peripheral neuropathies, myopathies and myasthenia and other neuromuscular diseases. Neurologists may serve as consultants to other physicians as well as provide long-term care to patients with chronic neurological disorders. The neurologists at Lawrenceville Neurology Center all practice general neurology and their respective subspecialties. All seven of the physicians of Lawrenceville Neurology are Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Lawrenceville Neurology Center is also proud to have several physicians in our practice who have received multiple Board Certifications.
