Epilepsy
Epilepsy disorders are characterized by the inclination of an individual to experience recurrent seizures. There are various types of epilepsy and seizures which can be managed with a variety of medications. EEG and MRI or other imaging modalities as well as a stay at the epilepsy monitoring unit at UMCPP may be utilized to diagnose and treat epilepsy or seizures. Lawrenceville Neurology Center has two neurologists who are Directors of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at UMCPP. Four of our physicians have been Board Certified in Epilepsy.
